Listed below are answers to some commonly asked questions. In fact, when we were on your side, we asked these questions. So, the answers we hope have gone through some level of BS filter. Or, they are full of BS. You decide.
1. What services do you provide?
We are a full-service agency. So basically, we have onsite resources for strategy and branding, planning, creative design, interactive design and programming, search engine marketing, and public and investor relations.
2. Where are you located?
We have offices in Chicago, San Diego, and London. Our goal is to open additional offices in Asia by 2011. Then, the moon.
3. Is it true that the two managing partners actually “rock?”
Well it depends on how you look at “rock.” Murad recently picked up the guitar and Jeff picked up the bass. Their rock band is called Bass Pairs. Get it? Bass Pairs. See them in action. Luckily there is no sound.
4. What size clients do you work with?
We’re set up to work with clients of all sizes. However, we create the most value for those companies that are selling a product or a service and those companies in late-stage funding for therapeutics or diagnostic products.
5. How do you measure return?
We are fixated on ROI. Rest assured, we will force the ROI conversation. What we do is an investment in growth. It needs to be measured accordingly. However, each campaign is different. Before starting any program, we work with our clients to define success. In some cases, we are shifting perceptions. In these cases, we integrate relevant research tactics to measure pre and post campaign impressions. In some cases, we need to generate leads. In these cases, we dig deep to really understand our clients’ sales process. We develop a tactical program, assign leads to each tactic, capture leads, analyze leads, and track conversion. Again, each program has it's own defined objectives. We can send you case studies if you are interested.
6. Have you won agency creative awards?
Yes, yes we have. Each year we are nominated for the BMA ProComm awards. And each year we seem to win something. In fact, we were voted 2010 BtoB Magazine Top Agency Award. It’s a great satisfaction and a true testament to our creative and strategic thinking. However, we look at awards a little differently. Be sure to visit our real "awards."
7. Can you manage global campaigns?
Yes, it’s critical that we efficiently manage global campaigns. Even if we are doing a regional launch, we approach each campaign from a global perspective. What works in Europe may not work in Asia. As such, we are very sensitive to regional wants and needs. From translation to localizing tone, we can effectively launch and manage a global campaign.
8. How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 2002. It’s been and continues to be an exciting ride.
9. Do you focus on anything other than life science?
No. And we don’t want to. It's what we know. We continue to build competence in this sector.
10. What specific areas of expertise do you have in life science?
Yes, life science is a very broad term. Our expertise is in biotechnology, research tools and service, specialty and fine chemicals, AgBiotech, diagnostics, and small Pharma.
11. Where did the name Chempetitive come from?

12. How long will it take for you to understand our business and develop a strategy and plan?
The good news is, we know your industry really well. We have a good sense of the buying process and how the target audience thinks. We‘ve developed many campaigns and plans, so we know what works and what doesn’t. The answer is, we get started really quickly.
